       Full legal name of the student and, where applicable, the parent or legal guardian

       Date of birth (required for all students to ensure age-appropriate class placement)

       Phone number(s) including primary and secondary contacts

       Email address

       Emergency contact name, relationship, and phone number

2.3 Financial Information

To process tuition, fees, and related transactions, we collect:

       Payment card information (credit or debit) or bank account details as needed

       Billing address associated with the payment method

       Transaction history and payment records

 

 

Payment card data is processed securely through Moodo Financial; however, Dae Han Martial Arts does not store full credit card numbers. Payment information is processed and securely stored by our third-party payment processor, Moodo Financial, in compliance with applicable payment industry standards.

 

2.4 Minor-Specific Information

For students under 18, we also collect:

       Name and relationship of the parent or legal guardian

       Custody documentation or court orders where applicable

       Authorized pickup list — identifying adults permitted to collect the student from our facility

       School name or grade level if provided voluntarily during enrollment

By providing a mobile phone number, you consent to receive informational and transactional text messages related to classes, scheduling, billing, belt testing, events, and school operations. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not required for enrollment.

 

We use your information only for the purposes outlined above.

 

We also use aggregated, anonymized data analytics to evaluate and improve the quality of our programs and services. We may use data analytics tools — including audience-targeting features from platforms such as Meta/Facebook and Google/YouTube — to reach prospective members interested in martial arts and fitness.

 

This use of analytics does not result in automated decisions that affect your enrollment status, pricing, or participation in our programs.

Dae Han Martial Arts may disclose relevant information to insurance carriers, attorneys, investigators, medical personnel, or government agencies when reasonably necessary to investigate accidents, injuries, claims, disputes, or legal matters.

Dae Han Martial Arts enrolls students of all ages, including children under 13. We take the privacy and safety of minor students very seriously and comply with the federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and all applicable Georgia laws that protect minors.

Before collecting any personal information from a student under the age of 13, we require verifiable written consent from that student’s parent or legal guardian. This consent is obtained through our enrollment forms, which must be signed by a parent or guardian before the student’s first class.

       Request corrections to inaccurate information

       Request deletion of their child’s personal information, subject to any applicable legal retention requirements

       Withdraw consent to the collection of their child’s information, which will result in the student being unable to continue enrollment

 

5.2 Minor Safety Protocols

In addition to privacy protections, Dae Han Martial Arts enforces strict safety protocols for minor students:

       Minor students will be released only to adults listed on the authorized pickup form signed at enrollment

       We will not discuss a minor student’s enrollment status, schedule, or personal information with any adult not listed on the enrollment record.

       Staff are trained on mandatory child abuse reporting obligations under Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 19-7-5)

 

5.3 How to Submit a Request Regarding Your Child’s Information

Dae Han Martial Arts is not responsible for photographs, videos, social media posts, or recordings made by students, parents, spectators, guests, or third parties during classes, demonstrations, tournaments, or public events.

 

Video Surveillance Expansion

Video surveillance recordings may be used for safety, security, accident investigations, disciplinary matters, insurance claims, law enforcement requests, and legal proceedings. Dae Han Martial Arts retains sole discretion regarding the review, disclosure, or release of surveillance recordings.

13. Georgia Law

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

This Privacy Policy does not alter or replace any liability waiver, arbitration agreement, membership agreement, or other contract executed between the member and Dae Han Martial Arts.
