Jerry has been focused on multiple martial arts since starting with Dae Han in 2016. Jerry came to Dae Han to study Hapkido and shortly after resumed in Tae Kwon Do after years away from martial arts to focus on family and career.

            Jerry’s martial arts training began in Louisiana while in College at Louisiana Tech. There, Jerry studied Tae Kwon Do under Master Farrokh Zahirieh at the Farrokh’s Tae Kwon do academy in Ruston, LA. Following Graduation and Marriage to his wife Lisa, Jerry moved to Charlotte, NC and resumed, for a short time, his Tae Kwon Do training under Master George Bell at Black Belts USA. Family life and career put Tae Kwon Do on hold for a while. Years later and a move from Charlotte to Marietta, GA, Jerry resumed his martial arts training at Dae Han where he is currently a 3^rd Dan in Tae Kwon Do and 2^nd Dan in Hapkido. Recently Jerry began a new training path with Gum Do.

            Jerry has two grown children, Andy who is in the Air Force and Emilie who is a Marketing Professional. His wife Lisa runs a vocal studio where she teaches voice, piano, and trains worship leaders.  Jerry has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana Tech and his MBA from Regis University. Jerry works for AT&T as a planning engineer in the mobility network. Jerry and Lisa are both worship leaders at their church and enjoy traveling the country in their RV and riding motorcycles. Jerry also leads motorcycle mission trips during the year via NazMoto.
